Karl Reed promoting his son for Mayor is understandable, but to say I did nothing for four years is absolutely political. I was not in office one month when an oil dealer did not deliver his paid customers their oil, I took the initiative to call 1-800 call joe for Oil and received thirty thousand dollars worth of oil for our people. I worked tirelessy to sell the school bond so we would not loose our accredidation. I went against the city manager and made sure to take back the operation of our treatment plant,saving us over three thousand dollars. I did not support buying the land from the trolley museum to expand the airport. I entered into negotiations with Merc, worked hard to get cheaper electricity charges for our community. When I caught on what they were really trying to do, I stopped all negotiatios with them. I saw the last of our manufacturing close,and tried to negotiate a buy out so the workers could own the company, I was thrown out when I made that suggestion, but I went the back way to shake the hands and to thank the workers for their dedication. We established the first ever open space committee, I wrote letters to get funding to buy Timberpoint. I made sure to appoint people that represented all walks of life, I saw two children die, and made sure to oversee a march in their honor and hear from their friends, to avoid any ill feelings and to ensure the neighborhhood was safe. I read to school children,cut ribb8ns and went to many homes to hear constituants complaints. We went to referndum to establish a Racino,and I was never afraid to ask the people wha5 they thought. I am sure I am forgetting many other things but please do not insult me and say I did nothing for four years. Your son failed to get the required signatures,and now to wage a write in campaign I wish him well2
