Karl the Wonder Dog and I just finished off three raised donuts compliments of Silloway Maple. They sure went well with my dark roast coffee this morning. Karl begged for more but I did not accommodate. Bette came over with friend Dale and met Gail last night for dinner at the Cornerstone Pub and Kitchen in Barre. Lots of laughs I am sure. The sap will begin a run today that should finally make sugar makers like Bette smile and also wipe tired eyes for the next week. Plenty to do when the sap flows.
