Karma, Freewill, Tragedy and the Place of Astrology In It Someone asked, if Robin Williams had known the astrology behind this, could he have avoided this tragic fate. As someone who counsels others using astrology I wall say this. Usually a depressed person needs hope and to know that the terrible feeling of the moment is not going to last forever - that they can get through it. Astrology gives a time frame and also remembrance of times in the past when they got through it. It is very powerful to have someone you have never met tell you: 1. when the downward spiral started 2. how it was like other times before 3. that you got past that other difficult times before 4. the specific soul skills that got you through the problem before 5. that you can tap that same inner strength now 6. what the soul is learning now with this current depression Astrology should not be where the astrologer is trying to impress with how many correct things he can predict about you. It should be where the astrologer is opening up the frame of your divine potential, and illuminating where you have forgotten that. At times, the crisis of forgetfulness is more severe than at other times. But I have seen over and over again that the soul will still recognize this potential, if you speak to that part of the person. If you speak to the limited, confused being you will deepen the attachment to the problems. Going between these parts of the person requires skill and correct training. In truth, this is why I practice and (especially) teach astrology. To show others how astrology is the best tool for communicating to the Soul of another (and ourselves).
