Karnal , 17th March:The CPI(M) and CPI, which have decided to contest the Lok Sabha poll jointly in the state of Haryana, yesterday organised vikalp rally in favour of the Karnal and Ambala constituencies’ candidates at the Purna Anaj Mandi here to start the campaigning formally in the two seats and also introduce the candidate. Incidentally CPI is fighting both the seats as joint candidates of CPI and CPI(M). A similar rally was earlier held on February 23at Hissar which was addressed by Sitram yechury politburo member of CPI(M)Amarjeet kaur national leader of CPI ,Nilotpal basu, central secretariat member of cpi(M) and state secretaries of CPI(M) and CPI, Indrajeet Singh, Daryav Singh Kashyap among others. Addressing the rally yesterday central secretariat member Loka Sabha Hannan Mollah attacked the BJP, the Congress. He said there was no difference between the Congress and the BJP as far as the economic policies were concerned. While pointing out that these parties are not addressing to the main issues of the peopl like that of unemployment, price rise, corruptiion, health and education ,proper housing said that Haryana today has become a model of corporate loot and the chief minister himself is acting a middlemen to handover the lands of the farmers to big corproate giants. He said the change in the leadership was not enough to solve corruption, unemployment and price-rise. “We have to change our policies. The Left parties are projecting alternate policies to replace the existing policies of liberalisation and privatisation,” he said.He also debunked the Gujarat model of development by pointing out to the various statistics which shows the other picture. He appeal to the people to vote for the left candidates and also to spread the message of the alternative putforward by the left among the people. CPI national secretary Amarjeet Kaur said no political party could match the clean, honest and unblemished public image of communist leaders in the country. She said that the communists had made great sacrifices in the freedom struggle.After the independence the communists are fighting for the rights for the toiling massess and have successful in making many policy intervention.She also criticise the AAP party by saying that day by day they are getting exposed. She pointed out that two months back on DGP (prsions ) of Punjab police joined AAP and said lauded Bhindranwale, when asked whether AAP endorsed his view Yogendra Yadav said this is his personal opionon.Such is the state of this party. She called upon the people to wholeheartedly support the five left candidates of the state CPl(M) state secretary Inderjit Singh said if the Left parties came to power, they would implement the recommendation of Sawaminathan Commission, provide quality education and health facilities, and offer employment opportunities to the youth.he said that there is need for change in policies of state and country.Major political parties in Haryana are not taking up issues of common masses like peasants, agriclutural workers contract and casual workers, industrial scheme workers and women etc. He said that time has come when the voice of the common people of the state has to be raised in the parliament which has never be raised there. Daryav Singh Kashyap state secretary of cpi pointed out the rampant corruptin in recuritment transfers.Lots of posts are lying in the government department. Jagmati Sangwan AIDWA president, spoke about the heoric struggle by the women of the state against the practice of infantcide and also against the dictate of khap panchyats. She also pointed out how important are the work of the scheme workers and how the state government is exploiting them and repressing them. While Mamchand Saini is the candidate of Karna Arun Kumar Advocate is from Ambala (SC).
