Check out her page for The Climate Mobilization Victory Fund — this kind but resolute message is what the #PledgeToMobilize is all about: First of all, I am sensitive to the fact that the topic of climate change typically tends to evoke one of two responses: 1. Eyes glaze over and you think...Not again. When will she ever stop talking about this?! 2. This is too scary and too overwhelming and I just dont want to deal with it. I get it. For so long, I shared that same sentiment. I know it may sound corny, but Ive come to believe that I have a moral obligation to do what I can to help make this world a better place. You may think that Im being grandiose and/or delusional, but actually Im not. It is possible and I cant think of a more important cause to put my efforts towards than Climate Change. The good news is that if we act now, we can do something about it. Although climate action is mired in politics, by leveraging people power to dismantle the influence of the fossil fuel industry, we can affect change. So, thats why Im hoping I can count on you to stand with me.
