Kat made me watch this piece of shit movie called The Bling Ring tonight. I feel dirty now. That film literally encompassed everything I hate about this country and our celebrity-obsessed culture. Also, wtf happened to Sofia Coppola? Everything shes made since Lost in Translation has been just awful. Not just bad, but ridiculously awful. In this last film we watched, she spent an hour telling the story of something that could have been wrapped up more efficiently in a three-minute montage. In short, ignore this film like the plague. Its awful, the characters are awful, the direction is awful. Everything about it sucked. I want those two hours of my life back.
