Katherine Louise Todd, 55 of Greenwood, passed away May 20, 2014 at her residence, surrounded by her family, following a long battle with cancer (non-hodgkins lymphoma). She was born February 14, 1959 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Mary Ellen (Chipps) Crawford and Joseph Shorty Crawford of Greenwood. Mrs. Todd was a Teacher for the Doddridge County Board of Education. She specialized in Special Education and was currently teaching First Grade. She was a graduate of Doddridge High, attended Glenville State and West Virginia University at Parkersburg and attained her Masters Degree in Teaching from Fairmont State College. Katherine was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in West Union, Chapter 56, loved animals, especially her cats and dogs and enjoyed spending time with her grandsons reading to them and teaching them to cook. Surviving in addition to her father is her husband Roy Todd, son Royce Todd (Amanda), of Greenwood, daughters Mari Bonnell (Roger) of Pennsboro and Kari Lipscomb (Russell) of Greenwood and five brothers and sisters: Randy Towner of Texas, Chuck Towner of Ohio, Becky Maynard of Ohio, Greg Crawford of Virginia and Linda Crawford of Florida. She also leaves behind five grandsons whom she loved dearly: Parker and Packston Todd, Phoenix Bonnell and Avery and Mason Lipscomb and special nephew Nathaniel Crawford. Funeral services will be Saturday 11AM at the McCullough Funeral Home, Pennsboro with Pastor Chad Ash officiating. In following her wishes, she will be cremated after the services. Visitation will be Friday 4-8PM.
