Katie Downes ask that negative comments not be placed on her post Re THE CHICKEN COUP but felt I would play Devils Advocate, on the surface it sounds all well and good, but throw this into the mix, what happens when the novelty wears off, when people stop taking care of their chickens, move to a location that does not allow them do they become abandoned and another problem to Animal Shelters or neglected birds become unsanitary and diseased. Why not support a guy like Norm Young that lives in a properly zoned area, willing to work with folks both for free ranged chickens and Pesticide free garden plots. I think if you want to farm, the Urban Local is not the place IMHO
