Katie came home last night to pick up a few things and her TV. We brought her back to her dorm and while was walking through the parking lot, she tripped and missed the curb. She fell and has road rash on her thigh. When we got back to her dorm, I cleaned it up and put ointment on it. She went to health services because it was swollen ( and because the campus police wrapped her leg up last night after we left and notified health services). The nurse said she has never seen anything like it....it looks like a burn. So it is 12cm by 15cm long and hurts. They gave her gauze and burn ointment to put on it. Of course the bandages wont stay on! Anyway...she is ok! On a happy note, she loves college! She was so excited talking to us last night, she was talking 40mph an hour!
