Katie was extubated today about 1030am. She was intubated non-invasively with a bi-pap mask. (Meaning, she is still on the vent, however no tube but with a mask. It is supplying a good amount of pressure to open her lungs and 60% of oxygen). This afternoon it was discovered that Katie has pneumothorax! In other words her left lung has collapsed. I will continue to keep everyone posted, but please be patient as this is not so easy. We just ask for continued prayers!! BE STILL, and know that I am GOD! Psalm 46:10
