Katrina Sh asked, Do you ever skim over certain topics, knowing that your kids wont retain much anyway? Most of us cant remember the Greek gods or the names of the tectonic plates. So how do you teach topics such as these that you know the kids just wont retain the details of? Do you do it anyway, or use that time for more important lessons that the kids are interested in? How do you pick the importance of certain topics? Thanks.
