Kaye and I are excited to be part of the 10-20-30 Challenge. Throughout 2013, Kaye and I had pretty well plateaued with our measurements. We were working too hard to not get great results, so after a son –father & mother talk, we got serious and applied the nutrition guidelines as intended : right food, right portions, right time. Since January this year, we’ve both achieved great results, without a lot of drama and with three things helping us : 1. Doing the exercises 2. Eating healthy; and 3. Getting great feedback and motivation at Measurements. I’ve peeled off 10 cms from my navel, reduced the sum of 4 sites by 39.8 mms and dropped 12.4 kgs in weight. Better still, achieved 6 green results in a row! Kaye, who started pretty lean, reduced her navel by 8.5 cms, reduced the sum of 4 sites by 45.4 mms (!!!) and dropped 7.7 kgs in weight. Stoked! But, for me, it’s still a work in progress. So we’re looking forward to participating in the 10-20-30 Challenge to maintain the momentum and learn more about getting and keeping a fit and lean way of life. We’re sharing this because the 10-20-30 Challenge does everything Haulers did for us, with four valuable additions : 1. It has 2 extra sessions, with Double-Up December in the “off weeks” for fitness; 2. It has the induction night, taking us through the program 3. It uses the tools from the Nutrition evenings, and we get to use a Nutrition Plan; and 4. There are fortnightly measurements and guidance sessions throughout the Challenge AND, we continue to get support from Craig, Jessica, Shannon and Theo throughout the Challenge One thing is for sure, it helps big time when you get the energy and encouragement from fellow Haulers and the motivation from the Trainers during the sessions – changes seemed to flow without becoming too myopic and missing out of the good things in life – like Craig & Jess’s wedding celebrations!
