Kayihura upset with increased homicide: Cases of murder, defilement and domestic violence increased in double digits despite a reduction in general crime, the 2013 Police Annual Crime and Traffic and Road Safety Report has shown. The report, which was yesterday released by the Inspector General of Police, Gen Kale #Kayihura, shows that homicide (murder) cases increased to 2,326 in 2013 from 1,910 cases in 2012. Gen Kayihura expressed his disappointment about increase in homicide cases and observed that the police force and general public should work together through community policing to reduce them.
