Kaylee will start her new treatment today. Please let this be easy.....she needs easy. Kaylee has been through so much in her little life. The biggest side effects from this medication are liver functions, sun sensitivity, sever dry skin and emotional distress. Kaylee will be evaluated every two weeks by her oncologist to make sure she is handling the medication properly. At the end of February beginning of March Kaylee will head back to Sloan Kettering in New York for a full work up of scans. If scans are clear she will start the vaccine trial. The vaccine trial will consist of many trips back and fourth to New york for multiple infusions over the next year. Kaylee has a long road ahead of her still. We just have to remember to take it day by day.....Live in the moment.....Appreciate the moments.
