Keelie is still neutrapenic this morning and the docs say we probably wont go home until sometime next week. They now suspect that the growth in the blood culture aka staph was human error in the lab and they are stopping the vancomycin to see if she spikes a fever. She will continue on cefapim until her counts recover to protect her from a myriad of other potential bacterias. Keelie is definitely feeling the effects of Miralax and apple juice and had loose stools through the night which caused the nurse to wonder about c-dif, which upset me because Keelie is sensitive to Miralax and apple juice that way. The docs confirmed that the nurses cannot send out the test without their consent. Phew! That test puts you in automatic isolation. Not fun. Thank you for the continued prayers and support
