Keep the Spirit of Cultural Arts Day alive - join the Eugene ONeill Foundation! The Eugene O’Neill Foundation is seeking additional members for the Foundation’s volunteer Board of Directors. They need candidates with a marketing/PR background, those interested in community fund-raising, or with a legal background, or those who just appreciate the writings of O’Neill and want to learn more. The working Board meets monthly and is responsible for several community programs including Student Days and the O’Neill Studio Retreat (for area high schoolers), the annual Eugene O’Neill Festival with performances in the Old Barn at Tao House, and a newly formed Artist in Residence program which brings scholars to Tao House to access the Library/Archives, and work for an extended period in the solitude that inspired O’Neill’s writing. Board members work with committees for these and other related programs.
