Keep the crack in the back! So I feel compelled to share this obsession I have with the crease on coffee cups in relation to the opening in the lid. So for the longest time when I visit my local Starbucks and get my favorite coffee, normally a hot decaf Americana, I have to adjust my lid so the opening and the crease in the cup are 180 degrees out from each other. Its not a big production, jut an automatic thing. At some point I started this and a new strangeness was born. Now there is a practical reason; when driving, you need not wonder where the opening is as the “crack in the back” is a great indicator. This is more of a feel to see if I’m the only one that needs to “keep the crack in the back”. Perhaps the next time you get that daily dose of coffee you will pause and wonder; where is that crack and should I put it in the back where large cracks belong anyway. Just tell your Baristas; “I want the crack in the back please”. Do you have some interesting quirk you would like to share?
