Keeping it real: last night I joined weight watchers. I really didnt want to!! I was determined to do this thing, after all, Ive been praying, and many dear souls have been praying for me, and I have books, websites, etc. with all the help I could possibly ever need! Yet I continue to struggle. Ive come to the conclusion that I simply cannot do this without an accountability partner...so God provided me with one, and now a whole group of people to help me! I dont think its a coincidence that today I read about how Aaron and Hur stood on either side of Moses and helped him hold up the staff of God. (See exodus 17:8-15). So, Im swallowing my pride and Im leaning on others. I still take self responsibility for my choices but on this journey I need support. Part of me says, God is all you need! But Hes reminding me through this case, that He works through His people and teamwork is a blessing :-)
