Keeping my mouth in check with Proverbs Words of Wisdom as I - TopicsExpress

Keeping my mouth in check with Proverbs Words of Wisdom as I prepare to face 116 6th graders today. "The WISE in heart are called discerning and pleasant words PROMOTE instruction." ( Pro. 16:21) And I must not forget, "Do not answer a fool according to his folly or you will be like him yourself." (Prov. 26:4) My mind flashes with an abundance of examples of each: My brother gently redirects his children with words of firm love. A teacher TEARING into and RIPPING a student apart with loud obnoxious words as she flails her arms up and down. An assistant principal calmly sitting down in my classroom as she speaks softly to me and my "run away" student which quickly deflates the heated situation. Hmm............ Wisdom vs. folly Which way will I walk today?
