Keith has been working a lot of overtime lately. Good for the paycheck, bad for getting ready for spring. A guy at his shop walked out of work and left them short handed. I guess, if the guy was going to do it, then he could not have had better timing. Im officially in the second trimester already (whoo hoo!) and my energy feels back. Plus the weather is MUCH nicer. I am so much more inclined on hanging out in the barn and working if I am not at risk of my fingers freezing off. We did get a baby swing hung from the rafters in the barn and my 14 month old son LOVES it. Its a good thing its a bit high off the ground though, because the little Nubian underfoot goat, named Aphie, likes to stand right underneath him while I am pushing him. I took one of the kids for a sleigh ride last Sunday and Aphie insisted on accompanying us everywhere we went. lol So, I was basically walking the goat. We had friends on Sunday that dropped off our older kids from church while Aphie was out with me, and she tried jumping into their van. Shes a friendly little thing! I have been working very hard in the past few days getting farm records organized. I made medical record forms, supply forms, milking record forms, etc for my goat binder. If anyone is interested in getting something like this, PM your email address and I can send you the file. :) I am ALMOST happy with my binder. And then I get to start on making sure all the other binders are updated. Its one of my OCD things- I have a binder for everything lol, I learned that in the Army and some habits die very hard. At least I dont iron my bluejeans! ha ha ha (Thumbs up if you understand that joke!)
