Kelechi Amasike wrote: BRAIN-DRAIN OUT OF IGBOLAND: SOLUTION 1. Many have been demanding for solution, but the truth is that solution may not be as pleasing and easy as we may expect. But the utmost truth is that SOMETHING drastic ought to happen for a change. And that thing lies with the people especially the youth and the Government. What I dont know is who will move first. For instance, Arab Revolution started when Government agents demolished a business shade of a young man. The young man set himself ablaze therein, and the youths took over the streets and demanded that Ali Must Go. People thought it was a joke. That singular act ignited the entire Arab world that Ghadafi and Mubarak were consumed in it. Today in Igboland, what is the past-times of our youths? European Football League! They forgot that our fathers wasted their manhood in the same European Football League betting: Pool staking. Many of our fathers spent the money for our school fees on Pool, predicting Man U vs Arsenal football results. What a waste! Therefore our youths must decide today to convert those European League viewing centers to meeting places where deliberations on how to OCCUPY IGBOLAND must take place. They must rise in unison of MASS MOVEMENT to demand from our Governments and our Businessmen a wholistic plan of action to massively re-engineer development of Igboland. In all this the youths must be the driving force. They must be seen on the driving seat. They must realize that its their future that is at stake. Statelessness has never worked for any people. Ask the Jews! No matter how comfortable one appears in a foreign land secured homeland in still paramount. They must realize that home is still the best. Come what may, Home is the best.
