Kelly Winger – who has one of my all-time favorite names – was nice enough to give me the number five, so here are a few more things you may not know about me: 1. My great-great-grandfather’s name was Axel, which I think is awesome. Sure, he was a farmer from Sweden, not a wasted metal singer from LA, but still. You’re in the jungle, baby… 2. I love history, especially American history, but I’m not a big believer in “the good ‘ol days.” Today is better than yesterday, tomorrow will be better than today, and society relentlessly advances. 3. I have a ridiculous ability to retain useless information. At a moment’s notice, I can tell you the names of KISS’ original lineup, and the names of their replacement guitarists and drummers. And I don’t even like KISS. Hey, what do I win for knowing that? Jack squat? Well, super-duper. 4. I think life’s too short for us to be close-minded. Or intolerant. Or haters. Or ultra-politicized, inflexible ideologues. There’s too much out there to appreciate, learn, love, soak up and enjoy, and there are too many important issues that need to be civilly debated instead of childishly argued. 5. The only “celebrity crush” Ive ever had is Heather Graham…goodness gracious, girl… 6. I think the most beautiful word in the world is “Ferrari,” for all sorts of reasons. (Shoot, that’s six things. Sorry, Ive never been good at math. D’OH, that’s seven! Sorry again, I’m an open book. Sigh, eight…)
