KellyAnne I’m so incredibly proud of you. You are doing what so many others aren’t able to. We’ve heard the stories of women with HG ending their pregnancies because they can’t go on one more day, but in spite of your hunger, isolation and anguish, you continue to fight on. I’ve watch you go days without eating more than 300 calories, drink less than 8 ounces and not keep any of it down. You’ve been admitted to the hospital twice and have endured weeks and weeks of I.V therapy. Yesterday you had a PICC line placed to enable home health care and today saw the Doctor and got information that was hard to take. I know you feel like crap, I know you think you are not being a good Mother, a good wife, I know that you feel that you have been robbed from having a “normal” healthy pregnancy. But I know this. God loves you and is taking care of you and Scarlett. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 10 Scriptures for Fighting Fear in Pregnancy 1. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 2. “For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things and in Him all things hold together.” Colossians 1:16-17 3. “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1 4. “The Lord gives strength to His people; the Lord blesses His people with peace.” Psalm 29:11 5. “Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you. He will never let the righteous fall.” Psalm 55:22 6“ He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. When you pass through the waters I will be with you.” 8 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43 9. “You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in You.” Isaiah 26:3 10 “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27 Faith and fear cannot dwell in the same place.
