Ken Fischer, Jean,Jeff(both of you), Steve and all those not named, we have chewed on this previously. Of Course I would want an Outside Operational and Financial Audit of the ENTIRE city, each department! There has been too much obvious waste of time and money for over a decade. I am not saying there has been any inappropriate abuse of authority, but if it was so determined in a thorough investigation, I would demand prosecution of personnel found to have intentionally mis -appropriated funds or their authority. There has been a great deal of nepaltizium within this cities organization. Most major businesses and government management have strict rules in place to avoid the appearances of conflicts of interest. Corona has had a plethora of questionable circumstances. An audit would set matters clear that there has been no wrong doing and give accountability throughout each department of the city. I have seen questionable incidents myself. An outside authoritive, operational audit would help in the future growth of Corona. Audits are costly. So is surgery. But if there is a cancer within the organization, sometimes surgery is the only hope for survival. We need to know where the monies are needed, where it has gone. Do have too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Many questions still linger about incomplete issues from, numerous roadways, maintenance, mass employee lay offs, Fender building deal, Mosque parking deal, Hospital deals, poor Animal Shelter conditions and wasted $$$ on plans, broken promises of a Senior Center, and On And On. There has been NO accountability , a lack of Leadership, and those in positions of power take no responsibility for their actions or lack there of. So AGAIN, I support a full Audit of ALL departments in Corona so that we can get this train on the right track and started in forward motion. All Aboard!
