Simeone has showed the world that he has arrived and today, I’ve been converted as a fan. He is one to watch. As Guardiola’s magic wanes, his rises to the fore. I salute his resilience, industry and dignity. He is a man of history. For us, it’s not a crying thing, sorry, John Terry, it’s not. You are Captain Fantastic and you gave your best; but, in times like this, you duff your hat to a better team and hope that you’d be there to do it better next time around. The league seems beyond us now, so Mourinho should start planning for next season. We know what our problem is. It’s our forward line. It’s non-existent. The team have punched above their weight this season and for that every Blue must hold their head high, because no mater where we end up in the league, it’s obvious that the old Chelsea feared all over Europe are back. Those who doubt this must be convinced by the quality of our summer buys. We are back and we would be back big time. I would happily watch the two Madrid teams play the final, because the two managers are favourites of mine as well. Ancelotti is an eminent presence and Diego Simeone has gatecrashed the big boys’ party. The City of Madrid is going to Lisbon and we all will root for a great game! Sad and happy all at once, that’s me! But if there’s any good thing from this, it is that Thibaut Courtois has proved once and for all why he should be given the chance to fight for the Number 1 shirt at the Bridge, just as Cech was given his opportunity to fight for it against Cudicini in 2004. I see a great future form my club! C’mon Chelsea! Chin up!
