Kent Fire & Rescue Service say Tenterden fire is now largely suppressed in all areas, with crews still working to completely extinguish all hotspots. Two floors of the shop are considered too unstable for crews to enter so this is being dealt with by external main jets. South East Coast Ambulance Service Hazardous Area Response Team was sent to the incident but the fire service confirm there were no reported casualties. The fire took hold in the three story Webbs building just after 630pm and also affected neighbouring Cafe Rouge and Waterstones.
