Kent Teacher Honored as Elementary Teacher of the Week! On Thursday, December 4th, 2013 at 11:00am, STAR 101.5 SURPRISED Glenridge Elementary teacher, Mrs. Jennifer Hoglund, and presented her with the STAR 101.5 Elementary Teacher of the Week award. In a local contest conducted by STAR 101.5 radio, Jennifer Hoglund, a 2nd grade teacher, was nominated by her student, Marisol Salazar. STAR 101.5’s made a SURPRISE visit to Mrs. Hoglund’s Glenridge Elementary classroom in Kent, (19405 120th Ave SE, Kent, WA 98031). Each student received a goody bag full of prizes from Sound Credit Union, Dairy Farmers of Washington, KOMO 4, and STAR 101.5! Jennifer Hoglund received a personalized plaque from Trophies2Go, a $100 check, and a $100 VISA gift card courtesy of Sound Credit Union. Plus, Mrs. Hoglund got a makeover courtesy of Blanc N’ Schwartz Salon in Kent.
