Keoladeo Ghana National Park, a popular bird sanctuary and national park, is named amongst the world’s significant breeding and feeding grounds for birds. During monsoons when over one-third of the park gets submerged, the park is a home to more than 360 species within an area of 29 sq km. Aquatic birds from Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, China and Siberia find this marshland patchwork ideal for their migration as a wintering area.
