Kept my mouth shut until I had facts. I now have them. Those of you who posted that the higher premiums and cancellations were some kind of dishonest trickery can kiss my behind. Ive gotten our own letter. Our new Humana premium will be 300% of our old premium starting January 1, 2014. Dont tell me that stupid nonsense that I had bad insurance. I have a business degree and I am not stupid. The insurance company is Humana, a very reputable company. It was an 80/20 plan. It was a premium I could afford with a deductible I liked - and they paid claims as any reputable company would. Also, this was already a NEW policy and had already gone up over what it was before ObamaCare - so we were expecting that it would not go up again, or if it did, not by much. 300% is a lot. But now, even though I am a 55 year old male and have had a vasectomy, my family is forced to carry maternity, prenatal and pediatric care we will never ever use and do not want. Of course that is just the obvious tip of the iceberg for me. We make enough money that we dont get the tax credit subsidy and we dont make enough money to afford the higher premium. ObamaCare has now made MY family one of the families that is forced to be the new uninsured in this country. For all of you that voted liberal - I blame you. Shame on you.
