Kerry and Hague deliberate over further action on Syria RT News 12/06/2013 US Secretary of State John Kerry has told reporters on Wednesday that the country is in discussion over what more can be done to help the Syrian rebels in their fight against the government, but declined to give further details. "We are determined to do everything that we can in order to help the opposition to be able ... to save Syria”, said Kerry at a press conference with British Foreign Secretary William Hague. He added that the London 11 group – comprised of the US, Britain and European allies – needs to be more active in their campaign to aid the Syrian opposition. "We have met several times including in Istanbul, and in Amman, recently to coordinate our actions and our diplomacy and our support of the national coalition," Hague said. The meeting comes a week ahead of the Group of Eight summit in Northern Ireland, where leaders will continue discussing further action on Syria.
