Kevin Strootman is on the cusp of signing for Manchester United in a £32 million deal, according to a respected Italian football agent. Reports earlier this month said the Roma star had accepted a switch to Old Trafford, and that now looks to be spot on, with agent Matteo Materazzi revealing everything is almost agreed. ‘Manchester are one step away from Kevin Strootman,’ Materazzi told Rai Sport. ‘The British club will pay €40m (£32million) into the coffers of the Giallorossi.’
