Key Account Manager Remuneration: Basic salary Location: Johannesburg, Sandton Reference: #KAM-01 Job description Media24 Magazines is looking for an experienced sales person with a strong magazine/publishing background to take up the challenge of a Key Account Manager role based in Johannesburg. The incumbent will be responsible to service existing accounts and target new business for all Finweek platforms. Key Accountabilities: - Take responsibility for new business development and retention - Identify and manage existing and new client relationships - Develop and explore unique ways to grow the business with clients and establish the Media24 magazine offering as the solution of choice - The ability to constantly deliver and exceed advertising revenue against targets - The ability to use powerful presentations and solutions that builds customer excitement and close the sale - Represent the sales division at events - Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements Competencies, Skills and Aptitudes: - An appropriate qualification and at least three years working experience in a relevant field - Proven track record of successful implementation of sales strategies on a corporate level. - Strong negotiator with entrepreneurial flair - Creative, lateral thinker - A high energy, target and brand driven individual - Be able to work under pressure and deal with diverse personalities and situations. - Maintain a high-level of relevant industry knowledge. - Be commited to ongoing personal development in a continuously changing environment - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - A valid, unendorsed Code 08 drivers licence If you meet the criteria, please forward a two-page CV and short motivation letter to Shamiela Salie.
