Key Elements That Make Islam A Complete And Best To Follow Religion Islam is one of the major religions of the world, and the pace with which it is growing; there will be time when it will be the religion with most followers in the world. The question that a sensible person should ask is what makes Islam so popular among masses and a religion for which most people aspire? The answer to this question is the sense of completeness that Islam embodies. Islam preaches a sense of harmony and balance in every regard, which is the one thing that attracts people towards it. When people explore it they will eventually lead to the fact that Islam is a complete religion that has guidance regarding each and every aspect of life and this guidance is the best a religion could have. The best thing that contributes to the completeness of Islam is the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Being the Prophet of Islam and the bringer of Quran, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) led with example so that every Muslim knows how He led His life and how He incorporated Islam in His life. Thus, this gives a message that no one is above the law of Allah Almighty and it applies to everyone without any discrimination of social status, color or race. Islam also presents the means of spiritual cleansing and growth in the form of the five times a day prayers. Saying prayers five times a day presents the submissiveness of man to the Supreme Authority. When a person has such kind court to be present in five times a day, it is but natural that the person refrains from committing sins. Thus, five times prayers every day helps purify the soul. Islam gives the concept of almsgiving, where it is mandatory upon the wealthy to be considerate and give alms to the poor. Besides fulfilling a religious obligation, by giving alms a person is contributing to the society where there are poor who aren’t able to live life like the wealthy ones. Thus, indirectly Islam promotes a spirit of brotherhood, kindness and consideration. Fasting is another pillar of Islam where in the month of Ramadan, Islam commends its followers to fast from the dawn till dusk. Fasting is not just a religious act; rather it has various implications on the personality of the person and on the society. By fasting for a whole month, a person feels the pain and compromises the people who don’t have enough to feed upon have to make. Thus making the person more charitable, this eventually makes the society prosperous. The other pillar of Islam that completes it is Hajj. It is a religious ritual where Muslims perform pilgrimage and submit to the Oneness of Allah Almighty. During Hajj, Muslims from all across the globe from different cultures, societies, races and social standings stand with each other wearing a single white dress. No place or event on the earth presents the spirit of equality and brotherhood as does Hajj. Therefore, a person who observes Hajj, leads to the conclusion that in eyes of Allah Almighty every Muslim is equal regardless of the racial and cultural backgrounds. In short, whether it is personal spiritual growth, betterment of society, or the propagation of equality among people, all these factors are what are completely addressed by Islam and their perfection is what makes Islam complete and supreme. by ayesha.ansari For Details visit: quranreading/
