Keyetta 21 was seeking employment after being laid off from her last job, her unemployment was running out she only had a month left of rent in her savings. Keyettas lived in a one bedroom apartment accompanied by her boyfriend Jeffery 26. Jeffery was a full-time artist/inspired rapper hoping to make it big one day, with no current income. Keyetta was at the Mall filling out applications from different stores hoping she can at least get a call back or interview. Keyetta glanced at this one store that was under construction she saw a gentleman in there working, who was doing framing work, she waiting for the man to come out the store as she kindly approached him with a smile, Excuse me Sir are you guys hiring? The gentlemen Keith 25, looked at Keyetta he smiles and replies, are you asking for your Husband or boyfriend? Keyetta smiles she replies No its for me I really need a job are you guys hiring? Just so happened Keyetta was talking to the right guy who was doing all the hiring, he explained to Keyetta she had to first join the contractors union and if she was serious he would help her. Keyetta did join the contractors union with the help of Keith. Within 3 months Keyetta learned how to read blueprints she landed a good paying job with the county of Los Angeles working in the city planning commission as a architecture engineer, she was smart and a fast learner. Her boyfriend Jeff, his rap career didnt take off as he expected, he got jealous of Keyettas job told her she needs to quit working and help manage his rap career, he also blamed Keyetta for his career as a rapper, it was wasnt going too well because she was not supporting him, too busy working. Keyetta explained to Jeff, he needed to get a job in the meantime, she cant take care of him. Keyetta told Jeff she will help pay for, music engineering school so he can get a job and do his rap career at the same time, but Jeff didnt want to attend no music engineering school he said that it would take up too much of his creativity time as a writer. Keyetta gave Jeff an ultimatum she told him either he gets a job, go to engineering school or he cant live with her. Jeff became very angry he packed all of his stuff while Keyetta was at work, he wrote a letter telling Keyetta he could no longer live with a woman who dont have his back or support. Question; was Keyetta wrong for finally giving Jeff an ultimatum. Your Thoughts?
