Khpal Kor Foundation Swat and UNICEF Pakistan Partnership During Swat War in 2009 large number of people were displaced and migrated to other areas of the country. 400 orphan children of were also displaced to Peshawar and stayed over there for 70 days. During large crises UNICE come forward and provided food, health care and recreational activities to these children at Peshawar. When the KKF orphan children were returning to Swat from Peshawar after the clearance of swat from extremists in 2009. Thousand of other new children were orphaned in the time of Swat War and the majority of them were eye witness of their father’s murder. A result became psychological problems. The Khpal Kor Foundation & UNICEF were signed a project for counseling and recreational activities but unfortunately because of the limited capacity in its building to accommodate them. Under this project the KKF built a network of the private schools and admitted 1200 orphan girls & boys in the different schools. For the first time the KKF hold a district child assembly in the history of Pakistan through this project. Malala Yousafzai was became the first elected speaker of the assembly. The assembly unanimously passed many resolutions in the fever of child rights. The resolutions were delivered to the officials of the government of Pakistan. The government worked on the majority of these resolutions.
