Kia Ora! Thanks so much for adding me to the Group - what a great page! Hi Im Rochelle a swimming teacher from Auckland, New Zealand. Maria, thank you for sharing the STAs post about our hunt for great UK teachers to join us in NZ. My mum Anne (who is STA and ASA trained) moved from Northern Ireland to NZ in 1978 and set up our familys swim school, 36 years on the pool has got bigger, I now teach (and love it) and the school continues to grow! Our kiwi kids are lucky enough to follow the STA awards scheme. So we have a strong connection and history with STA/ASA and the UK. We currently have two lovely teachers working for us from the UK and we are looking for more. You may wonder why we recruit UK teachers? Its because they are so well trained, professional and passionate!
