Kia ora mai koutou Whanau, (Sun. 28th Sept. 2014) Part 2...... As explained earlier this morning, the shadow age was pre- 120 A.D. Then came the Dark ages. The professing Christian Church (of Rome), under the guidance of the early Catholic Fathers walked away from the foundational teachings of Christ & His Apostles. Gone was the the clear emphasis on Obeying the Ten Commandments as a way of life, and in came the pagan festivals of Christmas, Easter etc. How easy was it to forget the CLEAR SCRIPTURES of [Matthew 5:17-19]! Do NOT think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you , TILL HEAVEN AND EARTH PASS AWAY, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the Law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of THESE COMMANDMENTS, and TEACHES MEN SO, shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does AND TEACHES THEM, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. (Emphasis mine.) Later on in [Matthew 19:16-17] we read where the young man asked Jesus Christ What good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life? And the Lord replied: If you want to enter into life, KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS. Then He proceeds to name some of them .... Read it for yourself; Prove all things .... [1 Thessalonians 5:21] These Scriptures (above) are VITAL - especially if your minister to a flock; YOU are accountable to Him .... but, I guess YOU KNOW THAT EH?! Read that one in [Matthew 5:17-19] again .... DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Ill leave it there for tonight; more tomorrow (God willing)! Blessings.
