Kidney Foundation of Ohio Part-Time Social Worker Intern Open Position Part-time Social Worker Intern The Kidney Foundation of Ohio is seeking a part-time social worker (MSW/LSW preferred from a social work program accredited by the Council of Social Work Education), minimally a Bachelor’s degree required, to provide direct service to individuals and families with kidney disease. Duties would include identifying resources, managing client cases, advocating on behalf of clients, and maintaining an active resource file. Position would also assist with coordination and completion of program activities for the Foundation. Basic knowledge of program budgeting is preferred. Other duties will be assigned as necessary. Applicant must have: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Knowledge of community health resources. • Computer proficient – Microsoft Office, data entry. • Experience with community outreach and program development. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Evening and weekend hours, as needed.
