Killed this rattlesnake with the first shot right in the head last week. I probably almost got bit cause I reached up under those playhouse parts to grab the metal that was under it, I pulled the first two pieces of metal out and went to reach to grab the last piece of metal and I saw the snake coiled up, I never heard him rattle cause I had the four wheeler running right there too. They said he had nine buttons which I assume are the rattles, which meant he was either 9 or 10 years old. I felt kinda bad when I found that out.....kinda.
