Killing whales for scientific research is the dumbest argument I have ever heard from a very intelligent nation. It is akin to the puritans claims that killing infidels is the cleansing of earth from ideological contamination. (mufsid ul fil aardh) The UNs International Court of Justice today threw out the Japanese argument that they hunt whales in the Southern Ocean for scientific purposes and ordered that the killing must cease. Japan luckily would comply with the ruling though with regrets and deep disappointment. We share this earth with other species lets respect life. I hope other nations like Iceland shall follow suit.
