Kim asks, I have been going to my current pediatrician for almost 10 years. I have four children that I only take for well visits( occasionally we will go to the dr. for sick visits, not very much). Since 2009 he has been asking me to sign his refusal form or make my own statement. I always said no. A few days ago, I had 3 of my kiddos there for a well visit. His office manager came in the patient room while we were waiting to tell me that I had to sign or make up my own statement that has to say the Dr. discussed vaccines with me. I have a few days to decide or I have to leave the practice. She said they have some other families that dont vaccinate and that they stopped accepting patients that dont vaccinate 3years ago. I feel frustrated with health care and need advice. I think its stupid that I have to write a statement, but my kids go to school. What do I do?
