Kimberly Shults Smith here is his response to your letter Dear Editor: Again, I find myself under attack. First time by a lady with the name of “Vicky Collins.” She made her point (in no way do we agree on just how much control your City Council should hold over the heads of the public.) Along with power comes responsibility. Again, I feel government (in general) attempts to control much of our lives. But then “Vicky” does not agree. Rules/regulations should cover everything. Vicky we differ here as much as “night and day.” Have I become that big of a public target? This time a lady with the name of “Kimberly Smith.” I do not know her. Kimberly, I attend church at First United Methodist (Celebration Center) a man and his wife (will not print their names/do not have their permission) but you fully know them. They could not get to me fast enough this past Sunday to inform me “they were the ones you took such a dim view of in your Letter to the Editor drafted against me.” I quote “what a ding-a-ling. Her situation was in no way close to what she wrote. She proceeded to smear us all over the internet. What a ding-a-ling.” I know these people well. They are honest hard working people, and yes I consider them friends. What do we agree on is “I am an elected Public Official and am open to public scrutiny, ladies that is your Constitutional Protected Right. America thank you.” Larry Stevenson Ward 4 councilman
