Kimchi fried rice Ingredients:- Recipe for 1 Overnight cooked rice (most recipes use white rice but I used black rice since I had leftovers) 1 clove of garlic - chopped Half a bowl of chopped kimchi (small bowl) + juice from the same kimchi jar Oil 1/4 tsp soya sauce Korean hot pepper paste - 1/2 tsp (or less, vary according to how spicy you want it) Mixed vegetables (optional) Sesame seeds Egg (to be fried and added on top) Heat up a little bit of oil and stir fry the chopped garlic till fragrant. Add in mixed vege and the chopped up kimchi. Add in the kimchi juice, the hot pepper paste, soya sauce and a bit of water. Let it simmer till the kimchi is soft and just before the sauce dries up, add in your overnight rice. Mix, toss, till your rice is warm and thoroughly mixed. You can sprinkle sesame seeds and seaweed on top of your rice before serving and serve with a sunny side up
