Kindly watch the video before reading on. Initially we see a mountain lion searching for a prey to devour. It spots a cub playing in the grass, seemingly unattended. When the cub spots the lion, it runs to save its life. The lion chases it; the cub just runs to save its life, without thinking where its headed. The cub gets trapped on fallen tree, with the lion at one end. Just then a part of the tree breaks and the cub falls into the river below. The lion is persistent and follows the cub along the riverside. The lion manages to get closer to the scared cub, who is trying to get out of the water. The lion then attacks the cub, injuring it. The cub then begins to shout at the lion, thinking that it could scare the lion away. But that doesnt seem to bother the lion. In a fraction of a second, the lion suddenly backs away, after seeing someone behind the cub. What had happened? The cub assumes that the lion backed away because it bellowed and had scared the lion away. But after the lion has left the cub turns around to see what the lion saw. The cubs parent is standing behind the cub, joining the cub in bellowing. The cub then runs to its parent and finds comfort. What change did we see? The cub was transformed from being just an unattended cub to the carefully watched child of a mighty bear. That was the transformation. Well there was no actual transformation, but a change in how we perceive situations. While the cub was running away, it was behaving like a scared prey. When the cub had no escape, in that crucial moment it realized that it is the child of a might bear and decided to stand its ground and challenge the lion. Many a times we might see ourselves as the small cub, with the devil chasing us. We have been gracefully called to be the children of a might God. Sometimes, a transformation is brought about just by changing ones perspective. Let us start practicing, exercising, and behaving as children of God.
