King Faisal was assassinated by his nephew, prince Faisal bin - TopicsExpress

King Faisal was assassinated by his nephew, prince Faisal bin Musaid, on the 25th of March 1975. On the 18th of june 1975 the prince was found guilty and hours later he was executed in public, dressed in the same clothes, carried in the same car, executed by the same sword. Following the execution, the princes head was left hanging of a wooden pole for 5hours. His body was then carried away and buried. If it wasnt for the crowds, the public may have never even known that the execution of a royal member was about to take place. Procedures were carried out identical to those followed in the execution of normal citizens. On that day the world realised something, Shariah Law is for everyone. King, Prince, Minister or judge, the law will not change. The US, who were and still are believed to be responsible for ordering the assassination of the King expected the prince (at the time studying in USA) to be pardoned due his royalty. They forgot something, Islam is just, the shariah is just, once found guilty in a court of law, status is stripped and you become the Same as any other criminal.
