King Robert Mugabes Assassination: The Murder Plot that Simply Never Happened. Reading from what seems to be a script for a politician thriller Homeland, one Energy Mutodi and the Herald splashed on their websites and Facebook status vivid details of what is/was meant to be King Mugabes assassination plot by those allegedly aligned to the vice President Joice Mujurus faction. Let me from the onset tell you that I am a staunch MDC supporter and in no way shape or form sympathetic to amai Mujurus political woes currently befall her.The woman unfairly delayed and almost derailed Mr Strive Masiyiwas bid to launch Zimbabwes first mobile phone network, all because he refused to incorporate her husband in as a shareholder and a partner.She also looted the war veterans compensation fund with the help of the one Chenjerai Hunzvi.That the woman is a fat greedy opportunistic politician and business person is no secret.But regardless of what she has done in her past and present life is not my job to judge.I simply deplore the way shes being hounded by the same comrades she is supposed to be sitting down with to plan whatever it is that they normally plan including on very few occasions, the welfare of the country.I know that theres some out there who would be saying rega zvibayane, ndezveikoko!! but truth is no one should have to be put through this embarrassment and mental torture, friends or foes.She is another notch on the very long list of people who have fallen victim to this mad tactic.Tsvangirai being the latest victim just before her.My point is that it now has to stop.Regardless of whatever side this coin is gonna land on, It is now her onus and that of her co-accussed to make sure that the misuse and abuse of state security apparatus to further ones political interest is NOT in anyones interests.I remember very well that at a meeting some few months back the day Didymus Mutasa coined his now infamous moniker GAMATOX,he also boasted excitedly that Zanu Pf knows everything through the CIO and that they can even spy on you whilst having quality time with your missus.I think he was trying to warn people against being critical of Zanu.With all this going on in his party and the allegations being labelled again him.I do not know if he still thinks that that was a fair statement to make. Listening to Mugabes wife Grace, Opah Rushesha Muchinguri and the Mutsvangwas of the Mnangagwas faction, you would be forgiven for thinking that Robert Gabriel Mugabe is some kind of a Messiah who singlehandedly defeated Ian Smiths racist white regime rambo style and should never be challenged.Mujuru has not done anything wrong and has nothing to apologise for simply wanting to be the next president of our Banana Republic.It is this Mugabe Chete syndrome rhat has led us down this path of none progression.At 91 Mugabe is 26 years overdue for retirement and it is only prudent that somebody younger and more energetic should want to take over from him. Let me try and give you my own opinion on the allegations of an assassination plot on RGM.There was none.It is as simple as that.There is however a possibility of an element of truth in that mai Mujuru wanted to move a motion on vote of no confidence seconded and then supported by more of her accomplices from within her faction. In 2007 on the eve of his 83rd birthday,Mugabe took a swipe at mai Mujuru for working with Ibboh Mandaza and Edgar Twoboy Tekere on launching the laters autobiography.......All this while with the help of her late hubby Joice built herself a big support base up and down the country.This of political scheming is neither illegal nor uncommon.But one would ask why RGM with all the intelligence and other security services at his back and call would not stop mai Joice Mujuru in her tracks and on time.That answer lies with the expose by mai Margaret Dongo that Mugabe was simply petrified of Rex Nhongo.When Nhongo was alive, RGM obviously as we now know,would not have even dared chastise Joice Mujuru over such.Let me quickly touch on the allegations of killing Mugabe and the so called utterances by Gumbo and Mutasa on what would happen should he refuse to handover power. Now, the reason why everyone in the Mujuru faction is being falsely fingered in an alleged treason case is simply because RGM including his top notch Intel squad are none the wiser on how far wide and deep the faction had planned.You see, it is reported that the one Bonyongwe is on mai Mujurus side, so is suggested Perence Shiri, Augastine Chihuri, Jabu Sibanda and a lot other army officers like the other one whose name has escaped my memory who openly and bluntly castigated Grace Gorereza Marufu Mugabe for calling Joice all sorts and not showing respect.Let us also not forget that Mujuru left a lot of his own people and contacts inside the ZNA from during his days as their commander. This is why the Mnangagwa faction and mai Russell quickly came out with the They are planning to kill the prez line. This works to their advantage in two ways.The first one obviously is to gain sympathy card from RGM support base and bootlickers association.The second one would work like kufumura of some sort.Suppossing that there was someone loosely connected to the Mujuru faction who would have wanted to avenge the Generals murder or simply would have wanted to rid the country of King RGM, the Mnangagwa side wouldve come out and said We told you so this then would have been pinned on the the Mujuru side.I still have my reservations about Emmersons previous car accident.That was nothing less than a staged act to try and get sympathy for himself.The people responsible for Mnangagwas scheming and Intel are a very relentless lot.They probably had like 4 foolproof plans.A list where they would cross out each one as it fails.The other plans failed and as the last resort,they they ended up employing what I would call the Smash and Grab. To borrow from the Nutty Professor himself , You dont need to be a rocket scientist to see what has just happened in their party.Look at the timing and the fast paced turn of events.Vakaita inonzi going for the kill.They didnt care what would happen to team Zanu Pf afterwards.Mai Mujuru simply wasnt an option as their next leader full stop.No matter it cost them.It makes me think that some people in their team has something huge to hide.A good friend of mine opined on his Facebook status that mai Russell may be a hostage to the Mnangagwa side.I would like to believe so.But theres also a good chance that she had her future and that of her young children laid on the table and was asked to pick a side and do so quickly as this was no longer time to be sitting on the fence. With RGM having been summoned to China by the communist party leader where he was told that it was time for him to vamoos and China would help Zanu Pf as much as it can to protect both his and their interests,mai Russell took what was to her the best option.Back Mnangagwa and dis Mujuru.Remember it is widely believed that the Chinese favour him over anyone else.Failure of him taking over the reign, they would prefer a military man like the current general. Pictures of RGM in China when he went to beg for money spoke a story.His body language spoke even louder.It said he did not want to be there.The lame handshakes and the aloofness.I know RGM is very old,but that was nothing like him in those photos.I would challenge anyone to deny that the Zanu Pf succession wars are made in China.It is very easy to see the Chinese hand directing the script and the cast on Mnangagwas side.For starters,All the so called Mega deals signed have been pushed to mid 2015.Why is that so when the need is urgent.I have keenly looked at China.This is a country whose leadership can order the building of a power station and get it finished, commissioned and fully operational in less than a month if they so wish. After trip to his China,Mugabe doesnt feature or officiate as much as he used to.He cannot even be bothered to go to his wifes rallies.Something tells me that Mugabe doesnt even want Mnangagwa to take over but someone else behind the scenes is Insisting on it.Deep down in his heart he knows it is right both morally and legally(according to the dictates of a Zanu pf constitution)to handover power to mai Mujuru.What is strange though is why he has chosen this path of a full warfare.
