Kirklees Council is setting £2.8m aside to turn key buildings into homes. And some of the cash will be spent on developing parts of Huddersfield town centre that have been empty for 13 years. Kirklees Cabinet members will review the business cases for Waverley Chambers at Kirkgate and Estate Buildings at Railway Street, as well as Pioneer House Annex in Dewsbury.
