Kitchen renovation day seventy-nine and eighty: At long last the backsplash got grouted today. Ive still a little touchup and caulking to do, but now Im clear to get on installing the ceiling trim and drywall the remaining corner. Kathi is now leaning towards tiling the floor rather than wood or other flooring. Im trying to discover who she beat up and robbed -:) On another note, leaning over that counter all day about did me in: severe muscle spasms. A pair of falls last week reawakened my back demon (Ive been able to keep that old monster somewhat pacified for a while now), and true to form I didnt take a few days off as I should have. I think now Id better lay a little low. The 287 hours Ive put into this project have put well past halfway, but that still leaves much to do.
