Kivutha Kibwana has managed to hold the entire county hostage for - TopicsExpress

Kivutha Kibwana has managed to hold the entire county hostage for his personal political motives. He MUST RESIGN. I welcome all the name calling and insults from his cronnies and blind followers, but one thing we must realize is that this our governor is only concerned about his own welfare, not ours. His right hand boys are not sleeping because their jobs will be at stake in case he loses his post as a governor. As a people, we have lost more than six months. Time lost can never be recovered, because as common sense has it, time is a linear factor. While inside sources indicate that MCAs already apologized and asked Kivutha to work with them, He has just kept quiet. Indeed the same tactics used by Kibaki. Kivutha must have been a good advisor to our former president. History repeats itself. Let’s sit down and ponder for a minute. If Kivutha does not want to work with the current MCAs, his assumption is that they shall all be sent home and a new lot comes in. But what he realizes not, is that we shall not elect puppets. We need people who can stand against the selfish wishes and the self righteousness, eager to work for the people. Suppose too, that the expected new MCAs refuse to work with him? While I don’t have much positivities about our Current MCAs, headed by my very own Caroline Munanie, neither do I find anything to praise Kivutha for. Makueni is a great county, with great men and women of integrity. We are not devoid of leaders. We have been divided by the governor and MCAs to such an extent that we lack unity, and this means we cannot agree with each other. A divided people can never go any far. In my very humble view, I see no stalemate in Makueni. Only one Governor who believes he’s right, the rest are wrong, and a lot of MCAs, among them a few greedy factors who want the governor out of office. The result: Lower primary antics of management, reporting one onother to the authorizes, freezing accounts (read: sabotage) and the result is a messy stalled system. As our leaders, these people should be engaged in solving the situation. There is no winner in this. We are all losssers. Lets remember this if we are to get anywhere: We cannot timidly wait for everything to fall into our laps; we will receive only as we rise and march, for destiny turns its ear to those without fear. We must face all these fuys, and solve their differences, or just send them home and get a new crop of leadership that is not guided by self interest and Our Governor and MCAs seemingly are. Finally, “The leader of a nation who fears others will take more than they will give closes her borders or limits her trade policy. With mindsets of scarcity and fear, they make choice after choice to self-protect, to delay, to limit, to stop.” This is typically our Governor. Even with a new crop of MCAs, no much change is expected. Kivutha Must Go if the MCAs are going. Enough Said.
