Klara is 22 years old. She has a hard time understanding her limitations, genetic issues and what is so different about her compared to her peers. She doesnt understand that a quarter is more valuable than a nickel as they are both the big ones. She struggles with safety issues and gets so frustrated when I make her wear warm pants and a coat in the winter. She runs her bath water too hot and still wants to make her own microwave popcorn (with little success). However, she loves her Santa! It doesnt matter which Santa, she loves them all. She was invited to breakfast with Santa through a local organization for people with special needs. She thinks it is just for her. She doesnt understand and will be upset when she sees other people there. We will go and try to enjoy our breakfast with Santa. Klara would really love her OWN breakfast with Santa. She believes in the wonder of this great tradition and I look forward to her joy!
